Privacy Policy

This Policy applies to Contract Detective and other RoyNFlow Studio applications that reference it.
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how RoyNFlow Studio ("RoyNFlow Studio," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise processes information in connection with our applications, including Contract Detective and any other applications published by us that link to or reference this Policy (collectively, the "Apps").
By accessing or using the Apps, you acknowledge that information may be processed in accordance with this Policy.
1. Controller; Contact Information
1.1. The data controller for purposes of this Policy is RoyNFlow Studio.

2. Scope of Policy
2.1. This Policy applies to information processed in connection with your use of the Apps.
2.2. This Policy applies to information processed locally on your device and, where applicable, through cloud-supported services used to provide App functionality.
2.3. This Policy does not govern third-party websites, services, or platforms except as expressly described herein.
3. Categories of Information Processed
We may process the following categories of information, depending on how you use the Apps:
3.1. User-Submitted Content
3.1.1. Documents, PDFs, images, scans, and other files that you choose to upload or submit for analysis.
3.1.2. Text, prompts, instructions, notes, review focus points, or other content that you choose to enter in connection with analysis features.
3.1.3. File names, labels, titles, or descriptions that you assign to uploaded or submitted content.
3.2. Technical and Service Information
3.2.1. File size, page count, content language indicators, timestamps, task identifiers, upload state, result state, and similar operational metadata.
3.2.2. Device-related technical information, installation or service identifiers, app integrity and abuse-prevention data, and other data reasonably required to operate and secure the Apps.
3.2.3. Crash logs, diagnostics, performance data, and related troubleshooting information.
3.3. Purchase and Entitlement Information
3.3.1. Subscription status, in-app purchase entitlement state, transaction validation results, and related purchase metadata.
3.3.2. We do not receive your full payment card details. Payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store.
4. Purposes of Processing
We may process information for the following purposes:
4.1. To provide the core functionality of the Apps, including file upload, analysis initiation, result generation, history, reanalysis, export, and related features.
4.2. To transmit submitted content for AI-powered analysis when requested by you.
4.3. To maintain, secure, monitor, debug, support, and improve the Apps and associated backend services.
4.4. To prevent abuse, misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and service disruption.
4.5. To process and manage subscription or in-app purchase related access.
4.6. To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights, users, and services.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
We may disclose or make available information to third parties strictly as reasonably necessary to provide the Apps and the services you request.
5.1. AI Service Providers
5.1.1. If you choose to submit content for analysis, your uploaded document content, related notes or instructions, and technical metadata necessary to perform the analysis may be transmitted to a third-party AI service provider.
5.1.2. At present, this may include Google Gemini / Google AI services for the purpose of generating contract analysis results.
5.2. Infrastructure and Support Providers
5.2.1. We may use Google Firebase services to support storage, backend processing, app integrity protection, diagnostics, crash reporting, and related app operations.
5.2.2. We may rely on Apple for App Store billing, in-app purchase processing, subscription management, and related platform functionality.
5.3. Equivalent Protection
5.3.1. We require that third parties with whom user data is shared provide the same or equal protection of such data as described in this Policy and as required by applicable law and App Store rules.
6. AI Processing; Express User Permission
6.1. Before document content is transmitted to a third-party AI provider for analysis, the App provides a clear disclosure that identifies the information to be transmitted, the third-party recipient, and the purpose of the transmission.
6.2. The App requires your affirmative consent before such information is transmitted for AI analysis.
6.3. If you do not provide consent, the relevant content will not be submitted for AI analysis.
7. Local Storage; Cloud-Supported Processing
7.1. Certain data may be stored locally on your device, including cached files, app preferences, local history, and app state.
7.2. When you use upload or analysis features, submitted information may also be transmitted to and processed through cloud-supported systems used to receive uploaded content, manage analysis tasks, generate and return results, protect service integrity, and support reliability, security, and diagnostics.
8. Data Retention
8.1. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service delivery, abuse prevention, legal compliance, operational integrity, and dispute resolution.
8.2. Locally stored content may remain on your device until removed by you or until the App is uninstalled.
8.3. Uploaded or cloud-processed content may be retained temporarily or for a limited operational period and may thereafter be deleted, overwritten, or otherwise removed in accordance with operational and security needs.
8.4. Crash diagnostics and technical logs may be retained by applicable service providers in accordance with their own retention practices.
9. Data Security
9.1. We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, misuse, or disclosure.
9.2. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Processing
10.1. RoyNFlow Studio operates from the People's Republic of China and may use service providers located in other jurisdictions.
10.2. As a result, information may be processed outside your country or region of residence, subject to safeguards as required by applicable law.
11. Children
11.1. The Apps are not directed to children below the minimum age permitted by the applicable platform age rating and relevant law.
11.2. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
12. Your Requests and Rights
12.1. You may contact us at [email protected] with questions or requests relating to privacy, access, deletion, or other applicable rights.
12.2. Where technically feasible and legally required, we will make reasonable efforts to respond in accordance with applicable law.
13. Revisions to This Policy
13.1. We may amend or update this Policy from time to time.
13.2. Any revised version will be posted with an updated effective date.
13.3. Continued use of the Apps following the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
